When you book in your device, let us know that it contains sensitive data and your device will only be worked on by a fully DBS checked member of the team.
Data protection is extremely important to us, as we know it is you. We are happy to produce a copy of any DBS checks to you when your device is booked in, to give you peace of mind that your data is safe with us.
If your device contains confidential information, no data will be backed up (unless we have your written permission), data will only be backed up if it is deemed necessary to your repair and any data we do backup is immediately deleted once recovered, rather than our standard policy of retaining the data for 30 days to ensure a successful recovery.
Furthermore, your device will be kept offline whilst it is with us, to further protect your data.
